TPS Oktava MK-012 DX Logic Pro Stock Plugin Preset
This is a preset for the stock plugins found in Logic Pro to process dialogue audio for video (YouTube) using the Oktava MK-012 Hypercardioid Microphone. You do not require any other third-party plugins to run this preset.
This is a starting point, and as always, your results may vary due to proximity to mic, recording levels, and voice type. You’re encouraged to make adjustments and fine-tune these stock plugins as you see fit.
Any compressors or limiters should only be lightly working so as to remain sounding natural while also taming uneven audio. Having compressor or limiter reductions greater that -3dB is not recommended—but is sometimes required.
To install preset, using Finder in your Mac, navigate to USER > MUSIC > AUDIO MUSIC APPS > CHANNEL STRIP SETTINGS > TRACK and drag & drop the .cst file into that folder. Once you launch Logic Pro, your new preset will be found in the SETTING button at the top of every mono track you add (refer to photos).
